This collaboration of teachers first took place in New York during Spring of 2025, then Barcelona in Autumn of 2025, and is now reuniting in London and Bristol for Summer of 2026. As friends, colleagues and students of each other, Tim, Gina and Nico are super excited to be joining forces once again to offer this evolving workshop.
About the teachers:
Tim Barnes (UK)
Tim Barnes is a dancer, DJ, DIY motorcycle mechanic and horse back adventurer with more questions than answers. He uses embodiment as the palette of his artistry and is committed to walking his talk. From a nothing to shout about about background, the 5Rhythms practice shook his world in 2012 and offered the opportunity to tune into the beat of a deeper mystery. He holds regular classes in Bristol & London whilst also offering workshops, retreats and festivals internationally.
Gina Espinosa (SPAIN)
Gina Espinosa is an actress, dancer, and certified 5Rhythms teacher who has spent her life exploring bodies, movement, and expression through dance, theater, ritual, and various somatic practices. Fourteen years ago, Gabrielle Roth’s 5Rhythms Map transformed her path, and she has been devoted to the practice ever since. Gina studied and lived in NYC and London, graduating as a 5Rhythms teacher in 2021.
She loves creating safe, intimate spaces where, through dance, movement, and ritual, we can surrender to our unique voice, embracing all our colors, expressions, and inner landscapes. Gina’s work fosters connection, creativity, and the exploration of our most artistic selves.
Based in Barcelona, Gina offers regular classes and workshops in a vibrant community of musicians and artists who also collaborate with her Dance-Theater school and company. She also leads workshops in other communities across Spain and internationally, sharing her passion for movement, expression, and the transformative power of dance.
Nico Allen (USA)
Nico is a 5Rhythms teacher, trained actor, vocal artist and somatic explorer here to walk with you as you unleash the power hidden in your cells.
Through play, curiosity, and discovery we ask the body to show us where to go to access our most radical, fully expressed aliveness and wake up to the full spectrum brilliance inside you. Based in Brooklyn, Nico does 1:1 somatic work and leads the epic group series BODYWERK, redefining just how liberating and healing a dance floor can be
